I'm a UK-based Creative Arts student with experience in a wide range of administrative and creative work. My passions lie in all manner of storytelling formats, but I'm most interested in exploring visual and interactive forms of entertainment, including video games and television.

 

My adaptability and receptiveness to feedback enable me to fit in wherever I'm needed, and I'm looking forward to building my professional portfolio and working on some exciting projects!

2023 – Present

Currently completing my degree in Visual Communication. My work so far has centered on medieval literature, narrative theory, contemporary fantasy, and zine-making. Outside of academics, I am heavily involved in the university's extracurriculars, running over half of our on-campus clubs and societies.

2022 – 2023

Engaged in a year-long course focused on building a foundational understanding of the core components of Game Development. Units included: Sound and Vision, Creative Agency, Remix · Remake · Recycle, Intro to 3D Modelling, Game Specialism, and Game Production. Specialized in Narrative Design and Producing.

Graduated in the top 5% of my class with a Distinction (3x A* equivalent) and was elected Course Representative both years. Units included: Stop Motion Animation, Comics and Concept Art, Game Art and Assets, Promotional Design, FMP YR1, and FMP YR2. Specialized in Design for Games and Television Studies.

Co-Founder and President

2024 – Present

Co-founded UCA Canterbury’s first Writers Society. Duties include managing membership, promoting the society, and hosting weekly feedback/discussion sessions that allow members to enhance their writing skills and knowledge of the literary arts.

UCA Life Drawing Society

2024 – Present

Assisted the Life Drawing Society with administrative work, promotion, and running weekly sessions.

UCA Game Production Guild

Founder and President

2024 – 2025

Founded UCA's second online society, dedicated to connecting students across all three of our campuses to make video games. Duties included hosting regular game jams, creating opportunities for students to collaborate on game projects, promoting the society, and moderating the Discord server.

UCA Student Union

Canterbury Campus Officer

2024 – Present

Elected March 2024 to represent the student body and sit on UCA's Union Council. Duties include representing students at all levels within the union and university, chairing and attending Union Council meetings, informing change by creating and voting on policy, ensuring the work of the Union Presidents supports the student voice, and heading campaigns for change. Re-elected April 2025 for 2025-26.

UCA Queer Student Alliance

President

2023 – 2025

Adopted the Society in 2023 after the former presidents graduated. Duties included organizing monthly events, maintaining the QWC, and managing the society's finances/membership. During the 2024 Winter Market, we raised over £100 for Porchlight's BeYou Project, a local LGBT+ youth charity, in less than three hours.

Founded UCA's Role-Playing Game Society in 2023. Duties include overseeing the society's events, finances, and membership. Awarded UCASU's New Society of the Year Award 23/24. Hosted a 12-hour Dungeons and Dragons marathon in September 2024 that raised over £600 for charity.

Full-Time, Temporary.

Summer temp position supporting UCA's Admissions and Clearing department. Duties included processing applications via phone, responding to questions and inquiries via email, and following up on web form applications.

Part Time.

Part-time work traversing a variety of roles. Past assignments have included assisting with Open Day events, managing the bar at the End of Year Showcase, chaperoning school groups visiting the campus, assisting with administrative work, representing the university at off-campus events, etc.

August 2023 – Present

Part Time.

Part-time work at a mead taproom located on the iconic Bermondsey Beer Mile. Duties include managing the bar staff, supporting the taproom manager with administrative work, leading mead tasting sessions, graphic design work, assisting with event planning, and coordinating our weekly Dungeons and Dragons night.

Part Time.

Part-time work at a gaming bar in Shoreditch. Duties included: opening and closing the venue, managing the floor team, placing stock orders, arranging bookings, setting up gaming booths, taking orders, attending to clients, working private-hire events (tech launches, company parties, e-sports matches, etc.), coordinating with management to improve customer experience, streamlining operations and preparing a wide array of food and beverages, including cocktails and pizzas.

Prepared hot and chilled drinks in a busy service station. Responsible for nightly cash ups, and was the emergency point of contact when on shift. Also covered night shifts where necessary.
